Half of the guys on these network pre and post-game shows are strictly there for the entertainment factor. Guys like Keyshawn or Shannon Sharpe who run their mouth just to get guys like us talking about them.

They succeeded. Steve Young and Howie Long are the best former players turned broadcasters. Samuel L. Tom Jackson has been around forever but he knows his stuff.

Tom Jackson is an idiot. I'll never forget him on ESPN saying Bill Belichick had lost his team after an 0-2 start. The Patriots close out the season with 14 straight wins and a super bowl win.
