Yes, we were in Orlando for the first week of the tournament, skipped Miami (because it is a Shithole) and then went to Dania for the final weekend.
I have only been into the sport for two years now. My husband has been a fan for quite a while now....back when they used to have a fronton in Tampa.
It's sad what has happened to the sport, but it seems that they are making minor strides to bring it back, although it might be a little too late.Comment -

Maybe with S. Fla getting vegas style slots more people will visit the frontons and get interest in the sport. You are right Miami jai-alai is a shiit-hole. Ive even seen buckets out when it rains to catch the roof leaks. Sad, and to think that used to be the Mecca of Jai-Alai back in the day. When I was there in Miami about a year ago, you can still see the watermark on the court wall from when the hurricane hit and flooded the place. That is the same court that is shown in the beginning of Miami Vice, if I am not mistaken.Comment -
saw the pic. thats Benny Bueno. a dominican Jai-Alai player. he was awesome. As a front court player he had a devastating "Cortada" later in his carrier he became a back court player and was less effective. I saw him in June of 07 at a RUSH concert.
