Never seen a fight break out in a bar - and I've been in dank pits all over New England and NYC. I've seen tons of fights at Yankee stadium - but the best... I mean the BEST fights were always at Hartford Whaler/Boston Bruin games at the Hartford Civic Center.

I've been to at least 15 B's/Whaler games there as a fan (I did cover the Whale for some time), and every time a scuffle broke out. It was almost a home game since so many B's fans showed up. The best one was two young wanna-be yuppies in their shirt-tie work garb and their well dressed dates. The Bruins were kicking the Whale's ass - and the yuppies were starting to get a bit out of hand...

It's important to note that these seats were in the nose-bleeds - which is always Bruin territory up in Hartford. Well, anyhow... They started to try and look all big and tough for their ladies and jawed at Bruin fans. Well...They got regulated.

Most of the section had cleared out at this point, as the game was pretty much over - so there was no 'human blockade' should a wrestling match ensue. Well, a fight broke out with the 2 yuppy wanna-bes and about 6 B's fans. Eventually you get tired and wrestling is the next phase in the fight - so there was a mob of 6 guys tangled together and somehow the pile moved downward over the seats. Since the rows are on such a sharp incline, they probably flew down about 10-15 rows before running into other fans -then THOSE fans jumped in. Now you have an all our brawl going on in the bleeders. Eventually security showed up and stopped it, but man, the Whaler fans had their nice shirts shredded, their ties all messed up and 2 disgruntled lady-friends. It was freakin hilarious.

It's hilarious seeing a brawlpile fall down 10-15 rows of seats. Dang, that's gotta hurt.

if they are talking to you or your group and then you disagree with them then i think that is ok

if they aren't in any way talking to you and then you go over there and try to correct them then you are out of line imo

what? you must not go to redneck/white trash bars, or actually a bar that is mixed with older blue collar working men and young white dudes who think they are gangsters. this one dive i've frequented for years is guaranteed to have a fight or 2 on a Fri and Sat., place has got so bad that in the past year or so they pay the police to sit in the parking lot and around the entrance on weekends.
