Royal on the coals yet again. This time by Weitzner, disgruntled ex CEO of the RX
Ken Weitzner recently posted that Royal is about to close and said that he had inside sources as to the validity of that. This is what he is catching onto.
About a week ago I was approached by Lenny at Cascade in regards to becoming partners with Royal's sportsbook arm. The reason for this is because there would definitely be a synergy between the 2 companies. Cascade could use the "marketing strengths" of Royal and Royal could use the "bookmaking strengths" of Cascade.
I spoke to Lenny in great detail and spoke to the CEO of Royal in great detail. I was involved in the process as far as contacting people that I know who have rather large balances but are caught up in the 5 dimes a week wd rule so that everything was open on the table. I also discussed with both parties at great detail the advantages and disadvantages of a partnership as I know both companies very very well.
On Saturday, Lenny had a third meeting with Royal's CEO and others to finalize a deal that did not go too well. Royal and Lenny could not come to a mutually agreeable partnership, as so far as percentages are concerned so Lenny walked from the deal.That does not mean there is no deal it simply means the negotiating process will continue. I happen to think it would be a great partnership.
Obviously Lenny spoke to Ken last night about the deal for some reason ( I suspect Lenny will be as shocked as he was when Ken lied about him paying BTJ and later had to retract). Ken then told his sidekick JC (why do short fat guys always call other short fat guys midgets )and they ran with "kens version". Lenny was given and shown confidential information and I have known Lenny quite well now for about 15 years and I know he would not have ever said that Royal is closing.
Royal is not closing to my knowledge. I have received virtually no slow pay complaints in the last quarter. The ones I normally receive are related to movers and bonuses. Royals Casino is extremely profitable and is their money maker. The brand "Royal" is very saleable so I just cant see Royal going anywhere.
Now you know what really happened.

Since you have such an open line of communication with Lenny and he has seen the confidential information, I am sure you can verify that with him..
In my opinion, Royal is not interested in bringing in Lenny to directly add much needed capital, but rather, they are interested in bringing Lenny to indirectly add much needed capital. They are hoping that Lenny's good name will help bump their deposits and keep their ponzi scheme going a little longer...
Lenny's astute bookmaking skills really don't add anything to this company.
The BIG PROBLEM with the deal is that the same crooks would still CONTROL all the funds, the same people who have raided the customer balances already. And that's why LENNY walked, NOT because they couldn't agree on percentages.
Lenny has the moral fiber to walk away from a deal where one of the biggest crooks in this business would still control the money.
Lenny would not let himself become Tej's latest marketing tool to boost deposits and keep that sinking ship afloat...

Why people mean by a ponzi scheme is that some books simply don't have the money to pay thier current players. So in order to pay the current players they need to get other players to send in new money. THey then take those deposits and use them to cover thier withdrawals. But eventually some of the players who deposited today, will request a withdrawal, and when they do, the book will need to find another group of player to make deposits. And the scheme keeps going until eventually the book starts to make enough money that they can stop, or they get so deep in trouble they have to close down.
As for Tej and Royal, ROyal clearly has value. Between Royal's name, their cusotmer list, the casino, poker room and sportsbook, it's worth a nice chunck of change. I highly doubt that Tej and crew would allow ROyal to go bust and close down. If Royal were in trouble, I would think it would be far more profiatble for them to sell it, then to simply stiff everyone and walk away.
My guess is that a lot of people are looking at a book like Betonsports who went public. I'm sure many operators have in the back of thier minds that if they could just get thier book big enough, they could go public as well.Comment -

Just a comment. I have only used Betroyal for some bonuscampaigns, and they always paid me. Ok it went slower than what I am used to in Europe, but when you get the money, it doesnt matter. Have I been lucky? Is it not easier always to talk shit about a bookie, but never give them compliments. I believe alot of shit comes from people who has misused a service. For example its very normal for bonushunter (not talking about ur legend AK) to sign up several accounts. When they first hit the jackpot, they request a payout and acc is cancelled. Then they start running to a forum complaining telling half the truth.
Regarding the ponzi scheme, be aware that some countries that gives out licenses request that the sportsbook has money for all current clients. They need to prove this through documents. This is the fact in sportsbook heavens like Malta and Gibraltar, im not aware about the rules in Costa Rica.
But even if the person who owns betroyal had issues in past and now, there are still hardworking people in that organisation and other organisations. And since I dont know other people accounts, I can just say they paid me..slowly, but they paid. And that was pure freemoney..also the withdrawals has been made through check, neteller and moneybookers, so I have tested different withdrawals methods
But anyway, im sticking to european books cause I love soccer, hate football
