    Is This Worth Pursuing? (BetRuss.com)
This book has a C- rating.

I recently got an offer for fifty dollars free to sign up with them, so I did.

The most you can win the fifty dollars is 300 dollars and I am almost up to that. Before you can withdraw the 300 dollars you have to deposit 300 dollars and roll this total over 10 times (6000 dollars in bets).

Is it worth going after this "free" money? Does anybody know anything about this Costa Rican book? How likely is it they would even pay out?

most books have a 5x roll over. 10 is excessive, find another book.

BetRuss opened it's doors roughly 2 months ago, and I haven't heard of any complaints levied against them accept an SBR poster complaining about a credit card deposit rule (a 21 day wait before withdrawing). Also I have noticed that 4 posters post positive feedback on them (from great customer service to prompt payouts).

This newswire below should give you a better idea about them:

          12/28/2007 11:12 AM

BetRuss enters the SBR Rating Guide at C-. BetRuss is a new Costa Rican sportsbook using DGS Software and IDSCA server hosting. The sportsbook employs 40 individuals including former managers of Nine.com (SBR rating B+) and Absolute Poker, and line managers formerly with HeritageSports (SBR rating B) and LasPalmas (SBR rating B-). BetRuss' startup model is now a rare one as few books will enter the U.S. serving market without the help of a turnkey service provider. Despite the upfront investment by BetRuss, players are advised to wait to see if the book will establish and prove itself before trying. BetRuss has been online for one month; is still working on site glitches; and offers a high cash bonus along with high betting limits which it will unlikely be able to maintain once it begins marketing campaigns. The book's management tells SBR it aims to be a recreational sportsbook excelling in customer service and financial processing options.

Sounds like a horrible deal. Probably will lead to losing 300 bucks
