I thought he oversang it tonight. Too many vocal gymnastics for my liking. But that isn't to take anything away from his talent. When he matures in a couple of years, he will be scary good.

i only enjoy
1. the first few weeks when they really play up the worst performers(which i'm 99% sure is mostly staged)
and then every once in a while when they have a guest i like
or the whole show is songs by someone or a style i like
the worst for me is when it gets down to the last few contestants-not watching now
i'll probably watch tomorrow to see who wins
