Texas only has 2 SR's and 0 Jr's that get any real playing time. I saw this as a pretty even game tonight. Pitt was a little better. I have no issue saying that. But later in the season once this team plays with the FR and SO in the line up more, this team can be much much better.

These kids will get seasoned quick with games coming up against. USC, North Carolina, Mich St, Ark, UCONN, Kansas, Kansas St, Baylor, Mizzu.

Its gonna be an interesting and hopefully fun season to watch Texas BBall!

Pretty good game for it being the first time either school played back-to-back's. Texas will definitely be moving up in the rankings now with the way they performed the past two evenings. I'm still very, very unimpressed with Texas' guard play, especially Balbay. Brown came off bench with decent game and Joseph may grow into a better all-around player. Barnes has his work cut out for him between now and those mid-December games in Chapel Hill and East Lansing.

Yeah, Balby has been told specifically not to shoot the ball. He is there to run the Offense, drive the lane and for D purposes, but not to shoot outside of the lane. As the season goes along he will be allowed to take mid-jumpers and occasional 3's once they start the inside out game more to pull defenders out of the inside. I dont know why they are not playing J'Covan Brown and Jai Lucas more? If the guards play like they are capable the guard play should not be an issue. The inside is where they are definitely lacking depth and talent.
