With Hoodie/Brady using the short passing game to make up for the non-exsistant running game the patriots will have the advantage in time of possession which is often an indicator that the team will be a winner...
Yes, one of the worst defenses in the league got their Key Defender back. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't he out there just about the game vs Pittsburgh? A game when Pit went over 400 yards in offense. Think that makes 3 games in a row over 400 yards for the NE defense.

their defense is fukkin mud. They give up 70% cmp to opposing QBs. they give nearly 400 yards per game on defense, and that is playing in the AFC East!!!!!

Trying to say if Brady isn't perfect, they will lose.

The Patriots pass defense is a joke. I cannot bet against Peyton Manning. I believe the Colts will get it done.

You should try watching the games as opposed to depending on Stats. The Pats defense dominated the Steelers, when the game was in hand they took their foot off the gas and stopped blitzing.

The Pats D has given up yards but have come up big in key situations, by either getting a key stop(s) or a turnover. See the entire 4th quarter and overtime of Ravens game, AD at the goal line, etc... Stats aren't everything.

For a team that can't run the ball they do a damn good job of it in the red zone, they are tied for 6th with 9 rushing TD's. And they average 4.1 YPC. They average 26 Rush attempts per game or 43% of their plays, and have faced 5 of the leagues top 10 run defenses (1st, 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th).

They are a young team so let downs can be expected (see the Cleveland game), but so far they have shown up big in the big games, outside of the 2nd half of the Jets game. They are making big plays and scoring TD's in all 3 phases of the game. They have 9 (if my memory serves me correct) non offensive TD's.

Just trying to provide some additional information.

                      WOW!!

Jacob Tamme in the 3 games since Dallas Clark has gone down: 24 catches / 245 yards / 2 TD's. Extrapolate that in terms of a whole season and tell me what numbers you get...

Peyton always likes going to his TE and this guy has stepped up big!! As a Colts fan you should know that nobody wants to see Gijon Robinson as the starting TE!!

Also Garcon is the only guy the Colts have who can stretch the field. No matter how bad he has been, he will definitely start (Collie and Blair White may not be back for sure, both limited in yesterday's practice). He is due a good game and even though he can go from the sublime to the ridiculous you have to hope he can put in a performance akin to last year's AFC championship game against the Jets.

In terms of this game, if the Patriots' o-line play as well as they did against the Steelers then I can only see one winner. Here's hoping to an exciting game, but not in the same vain as last year's matchup (I don't think my heart could take another game like that) with the Colts coming out on top

I do understand your logic, STATNERD, but the #'s are that high because the patriots D is susceptible to the gouge play. We saw it a lot in the Chargers game were the chargies get a play of 20+ yards for a 1st down and the pats D tightens up and gets a FG or a 3 n Out...Pats ended up winning the game. I don't think that Peyton has the players around him (right now- even if they have my dude REGGIE WAYNE). He can complete 70% of his passes this game and if one of these replacement players coughs up the ball, the Colts D will not be able get brady off the field...I also think that the home field Adv. will be worth atleast 7 puntos in this game!
