No doubt, Sunde91, this is a most stupid way to wager them. But I guess I am going for the big points in a quick way. I've had a little success with hot streaks before and hope I can hit another one this weekend. And if I don't, what have I lost? A few hundred points and I can start over by hitting even one parlay in the future.

Thanks for the good wishes, frizelli. You are kicking ass in Beat the Prick and now I will be rooting for you the rest of the way. Okay, four days later my 28 parlays have shrunken down to 11, but those remaining 11 parlays have a lot of earning potential, as far as points go. Like, if everything hits right in 4 NFL games, I will make over 33,000 points in the SBR Book. Or, if everything goes wrong, I could end up broke, holding only the 10 points I haven't put into the book yet.

The graphic below summarizes the four games I will be tracking to win 11 parlays on Sunday. The green-highlighted areas are the remaining teams I need to win that particular parlay. I have risk on 4 NFL teams ATS, which are the Cowboys, Packers, Falcons and Eagles (a couple of public faves plus a couple that aren't). All 4 teams are mixed together on my parlays, with Dallas being the key outcome.

If the Cowboys beat the spread, I win over 3,500 points.
If Dallas and Atlanta beat the spread, I win over 7,000 more points
If Dallas, Atlanta and GB beat the spread, I win over 17,000 more points.
If Dallas, Atlanta and Philly beat the spread, I win over 5,400 more points.

If all of the above happen, I win over 33,000 points on my initial 1,808 risk. course, I could also get shut out and lose all my points. I could also come out somewhat in between, as long as the Cowboys beat the spread. EVERYTHING I have rides on the Dallas game. If the Lions show up and keep it close, I'll crap out on my 10 biggest parlays and could still lose the one tiny parlay I'd have left.

I guess you could say I was confident in Dallas five days ago when I bet these parlays!

Go to Thaddeus' bank. Show him this thread, and try to borrow, or to place a few 500 point bets with him, on Detroit, Minny, St Louis.

He'll see that if all your bets with him lose, that you've won big otherwise, and have no problem with paying him. If your bets with him win, then I guess that sucks to be you.

Good luck...SBR may have to raise there prices if a couple of these hit.

Yeah, you're right, Glitch. I guess I'm looking for a loan from somebody. Somebody pitch me a deal and I'll listen to the terms.

Oh, and I messed up on the calculations above, because Ohio State was a push and that brought down the value of three of my parlays, including the biggest one. The most I might win will probably be well under 30,000 points. Still riding on Dallas, with heavy reward dependent on Atlanta coming through in the late afternoon game.

I hit all my major games and won 10 of 11 parlays (the 11th was an insurance play on the Giants). The Ohio State push cost me almost 10,000 points, but I made over 23,000. From my initial investment of 1,808.

Now if I can just do something like this one more time, I could have over 300,000 points.

Dude, you should get the ipad for 9 thousand and put the rest back in parlays. That way you get a free ipad and can make bets around the house like when your taking a dump.

I think you are dead on right about taking risk now. I got lucky this weekend and will be careful to keep my large bets on straight action.

That said, I will probably take about 1,000 points and play the parlays again, just trying to replicate half of my earlier success. But 1,000 will only be less than 5% of my bank now, instead of 100% like I did this past week.
