Nicky what if your mom was dying of cancer and needed an operation to live. say it costs $600,000 and you had no way of getting that money so she is as good as dead. Now you have an 83% chance to save her ?

What if someone is 55 years old and has major health issues already so his life may be almost over anyway ? Not everyone on here is 25.

What if one person is really depressed and thinks about suicide a lot anyway ?

What if these people are like me and just cant pass up a gamble ?

Most people give the desirable answer and say NO NO LIFE is too Precious, life is too important, blah blah blah. These are the same people wasting their lives drunk, on drugs, watching basketball games on television simply because they have $50 on it, watching internet porn, etc. In other words WASTING their lives anyway.

Like I said, come up with $10,000,000 and we can do this. The board would probably donate the $10,000,000 just to have a 1 chance in 6 of never seeing me post again.

I'm 35, 2 kids. I don't drink. I have never took drugs. I will watch a game I don't have money on (but just started watching again this year. I stopped watching when they had the strike years ago because I was piss. It gave me nothing to gamble on. lol) You got me on the porn.

With the cancer story it can end a few ways. One is you do it and if you win you have a chance to save her life. If it did it pays off.

You could win, attempt to save her life only to lose her a year or so down the road. With that you get to spend some more time with her but for some that wouldn't be enough.

You could lose and then you die. Now your mother gets to find out her child died to save her. So now she has to suffer with cancer (which is tough enough), while thinking about how her child won't get to enjoy life. In that case you could have made it worse for her.

What if you lose and then there happens to be someone that was found that was going to put up the money?

But Nicky is right IMO. If your young its too much to risk. Everyone would have to decide that for them self but it would be crazy.

If I was on my death bed with a day or so to go then I would rethink it. If I'm going anyway, there is a chance I could leave behind 10 Million to my family. But I would still have to think about it.
