I had money at 6 different BetonSports branded books when they went out of business. But BetonSports only lists the balance at the smallest account on the Vantis website when I logged in any replied that their listed balance is wrong. I have good documentation of my account balances but it says I must mail this documentation to the United Kingdom.

Has anyone mailed documentation to them yet? What is the best method to mail the documentation from the USA and keep the costs down? I'm guessing it will cost around $40 to mail by fedex and if they even pay out it will probably be such a small percentage of the total amount owed.

Does anyone know if I can e-mail the documentation to them?

BoS are scumbags of the highest order. Dan might tell you otherwise Cincy, but I would literally say the odds of you getting paid are 0.00%, and thus not even worth the $40 postage. Sorry to hear you were involved so heavily in the theft

I personally agree with you on this statement BB. No way I'd give Cincy any type of hope at all at when it comes to the retrieval of his funds.

I went to the post office and was able to send the documentation for $6.

I agree the BOS books were scum but that was why I loved to beat them up on their easy to beat lines. What really screwed me up with BOS was I had money at 4 different MVP Sportsbook websites (MVPSportsbook, BHB, Players Superbook, BetVSI). I liked the books within the MVP Sportsbook umbrella but BOS acquired MVPSportsbooks shortly before going out of business and I had not yet gotten the money out.

The whole thing about the timing of the MVPSportsbook aquisition makes me wonder if that was just a way for BOS to pay out all their cash to MVP Sportsbook before they shutdown so they could claim they had little money left.

I actually do believe Vantis will pay some very small token percentage (like 1%) of account balances back to customers but expect it may take another year before this happens.

Further to previous emails advising you that we had been appointed Receiver Managers of BoS (Antigua) Limited, we now write to report that our appointment as Liquidators has been confirmed under Antiguan law after an order given by the High Court of Antigua on 8 February 2008.

The transition from Receiver Managers to Liquidators is a move purely to satisfy the requirements of Antiguan law, and does not affect our day to day activities in any material way as far as Betonsports customers/creditors are concerned. We will still be proceeding with the tasks of recovering the company's assets, dealing with creditors' claims and distributing assets to those creditors.

The company's records indicate that you are owed funds by the company in your capacity as a former client of the company, which traded under various trading/brand names detailed on the right hand side of this text.

If you have not already registered your claim with us providing you agree the figure listed on the https://betonsports.vantisplc.com/ website, you should complete the request for information via the weblink at the foot of this notice.

In the event you are not able to accept the accuracy of the company's records in respect of your claim you will be required to submit your own reconciliation, together with copies of all transaction documentation to include proof of funding and full betting history.

Due to the high number of expected incoming claims we regret that we will not be able to reply to individual enquiries regarding claim status for several months. However, confirmation of claim status will be sent out by us in due course, once progress has been made with the collection of the company's assets. I have no idea what to do about this!

On one hand I thought I am just going to leave my claim for what it is. Then I thought: Wait a minute I am already not happy with the way in which these guys got all my (personal) details and I have some form of anger on how this whole saga has been handled. I mean if Antigua does now have guys in place to handle the aftermath of all this, why could they not have avoided it in the first place!
