Cribbs and Sheldon Brown are out, so the Brownies offense will be running without the wildcat and shorthanded in an already inconsistent secondary. I'd take a week off from the Browns with this one... need to see how they bounce back after that devistating loss.
Jax only -1 at home to Browns??

#38Garrard is more than serviceable as a QB and has the second highest QB efficiency rating in the NFL. He's thrown 14 touchdowns and one interception in Jacksonville's five wins.
The Jags are like the Bears of the AFC, they get no respect. They've had some blowout losses but they beat the Colts (when the Colts were healthy). And the Browns might be the most overvalued team in the NFL. I think NFL defenses are going to start figuring out Colt McCoy and he will end up as a back-up later in his career. He just doesn't have enough tools, despite being a gutsy player.
If you want to make a traditional loser into your "new favorite team," start following the Rams. They compete hard, have a solid defense and, with Sam Bradford, a QB who does have the tools to make a Pro Bowl some day.
As for Browns v. Jaguars, take the Jags.Comment -

#39Browns have a lot of injuries and Eric Wrong is horrible as a CB and will give up big plays.
The Browns have been money in the 1st quarter and 1st half so I would say go with the Brownies there and take the Jags for the gameComment -

#44I love listening to people talk about my team and be so damn off base about their argument. Everyone is slobbing on a Browns team like they're going to the playoffs when in fact they are a garbage ass 3-6 team. To put your money on a rookie QB who is not making himself look like a clown by smoke and mirrors is funny. This team is 1-3 three on the road and is pretty banged up. Jacksonville just held the #1 rusher(A. Foster) to 50 yards last week, and Cleveland is only 12th in rushing with Hillis being the 12th best rusher. We have two of the most disruptive young Defensive Tackles in the game who don't give up much up the middle where Hillis loves to go. The Jags are 6th in offensive rushing. No way in hell McCoy comes in here and throws the ball all across the field. I hope all you squares tilt the dog over to the Jags way so I can cash in on the ML.Comment -

The problem with the Browns are very average to poor receivers, not a good pass rush and a cornerback who get's torched with frequency (Eric Wright), who either is hurt or just doesn't give a dam. 3 of the Browns losses can be directly attributed to his pathetic play.
I think Jax can cover here at home but I wouldn't bet the house. The Brown's are not garbage... BOLComment -

#56Being a Browns fan I am not touching it, but from an analyst perspective, the Jags are very streaky and usually play close games, the Browns are on the rise and can handle good clutch teams so a poor one like the Jags bode well for CleComment -

#69The reason you think the Brown's are garbage is reason enough to fade you. Have you watched the Brown's this year or are you blinded by your lust for Jax? The Browns have a very underrated offensive line and the defensive line is serviceable. The Brown's have led going into every 4th quarter except 1 I believe. They are very physical and are really creative on offense.
The problem with the Browns are very average to poor receivers, not a good pass rush and a cornerback who get's torched with frequency (Eric Wright), who either is hurt or just doesn't give a dam. 3 of the Browns losses can be directly attributed to his pathetic play.
