I'm on a plane at least once a week and never had anyone "grope" me. The guy was just being a smart ass. We need fast and secure methods of screening passengers. I think they are looking for the best methods to prevent a terrorists from ruining our day. I'm all for it as long as its fast.Comment -

The TSA is a complete waste of time and money. They have been caught not screening their own screeners. They have been caught hiring illegal aliens. What kind of security is this? Government!
The TSA has very little to do with securing your safety, and everything to with controlling and monitoring lawful citizens.

Ann Coulter has it correct! The airlines should be in charge of screening, not the government. I don't take my shoes off anywhere else but USA. When the next explosive substance is found in the posterior cavity of Achmed--we will finally be reduced to only people from San Fran and hawaii flying.Comment -
If the airlines are in charge of screening it will be cost prohibitive to fly. Who do you think is going to pay for the scanners and employees doing the screening? They will pass the cost to the customer gouging them in the process like they do with the luggage. It will cost you $400 for ticket, $100 for luggage and $100 to get screened for security purposes.Comment -
