I Can't Watch Games That I've Bet The Under On
There's nothing worse than watching a game, and you're rooting for the teams to miss. I normally don't watch any of the game until there are 2 minutes left.

it's not good for the heart.. i've lost all my hair from watching unders go over.. but the big question is.... is it more painful to watch your UNDER go over.. or is it more painful to watch your over bet stay under.. i think your over bet stays under is more painful because nothing more painful than seeing your team drive for 8 min, make it to the 3 yd line, then fumble it and you get zilcho..

I completely agree with this. If I really want to watch a game, and I like the under, I just won't play the total. It's hard to want a game to be as boring as possible.

Watched the last 3 minutes of golden St-Detroit game, praying it wouldn't go to OT. Thank you, Lord!

I can't do totals anymore, too stressful watching the game and calculating how many points can be scored or need to be scored in the remaining time.

same...I was so surprised that stayed under. They missed like everything in the last 4 mins

and to comment on Nicky Santoro's post above...there is nothing worse than a game you bet under...everything is going under until OVERTIME.

                Definitely nothin worse.

Playing totals can be satisfying.. like when you win the over before the game has completed with plenty of time on the clock.
That is success, that feels good

the worst part of NBA or NCAAB is that you can be looking sooooo good on your under all game with 40 pt quarters in NBA.. they're missing everything.. but this all means nothing.. because even with all this, all it takes is this game to go to OT, and 94% you lose.. so basically, you cheered for 2.5 hrs for nothing.. it all comes down to the last 1 min to decide your bet.

there's no use watching basketball unders cause it could be all for nothing those missed shots all game, IF this game happens to go to OT, you lose.. i hate this..

I have a hard time watching whether I have over or under. I just get the score and take the pain or the glory all in one shot.

Losing an under because of OT is real painful. I lost one a week or two back that was IN THE BAG the entire game. Went to overtime but I was still lookin good. Then it goes to double overtime and well you know the rest.

my bad beat losses in my gambling career.

i had ATL un 8 in baseball.. 0-0 top of the 11th.. ATL score 7 in top of 11, home team score 2 bot 11th.. 7-2 final.

                          NHL

un 5.5.. 2-0.. 3 min to go in game.. 2-1, 2 min to go.. 2-2, 1 min to go.. 3-2, 26 secs to go.. 4-2 empty netter with 2 secs to go.. I LOSE.

NFL.. 3-3, 8 min to go in game. i have un 36.5.. 10-10 with 2 min to go.. 17-17, OT.. 20-17 final.

NBA- I lose the best under of all time in Triple OT.. and i've lost games that both teams scored 84 pts in the 4th q, incl 29 pts in the last 1 min 22..

i can name you 400 more like this.. it's sickening, but it's part of the game, boys.. get used to it. that's why they call it gambling. best thing to do is not watch the games.

#1 - People want to bet on games they can watch on TV
#2 - Betting the over allows teams to cheer for both teams.
#3 - With an over, there's always hope for a miracle. An under (tonights MNF for example) can be done and no hope while the game continues.

The worst thing is watching unders that should win easy but the game ends up being continually in the 4-6 point range in the final minute, and you see non stop intentional fouls followed by 3 second possessions, and before you know it, there were 20 points scored in just the final 45 seconds pushing it over. Watching that garbage live is torture.
