People act like Vick is just beginning to play QB. There's a reason there's no transfer with running QBs from college to the pros. Do you think Reed wants Vick to run as much as he does. He already missed 3 games due to getting crushed on a run by the Redskins this year.

This is the key. He can do it for a few games at a time but is destined to be hurt often. Teams want the franchise QB to be healthy more than they want him to be an explosive runner.

In the meantime, enjoy. He is fun to watch.

He was a probowler twice and brought the Falcon's to prominence in the league. He single handedly sold out Falcon games for many years even while he was in jail. The guy didn't take football seriously and still was pretty good. Now, he's working hard and it shows. The guy has improved his passer rating the past 2 years and is now much better in the pocket. He's easily one of the most improved players in the league. Good for him.

No doubt he was a good QB but he was hardly the type that's going to change the league itself.

Nobody has combined running and passing as well as Steve Young. And as far as i can tell Vince Young is a terrible qb, Vick has always been exciting but he is only now becoming an elite qb because he is relearning the position and becoming a passer so white or black doesn't matter talent is talent.
