    Go for it guys...

You can try to name the teams as well!

We will check back throughout the tournament to see if your predictions in February came true!

    Big 12

At least two (Kansas, Texas), possible longshot in Kansas State

          All in the Elite 8???

          Maybe, but that's tough.

Obviously everything is based on the seeding:
Based on the latest Lunardi projection (highly flawed by the way):

Visit ESPN for live scores, highlights and sports news. Stream exclusive games on ESPN and play fantasy sports.

My Elite 8 would be (seeds in parentheses):
          East: Tennessee (1), K. St. (6)
West: UCLA (2), UCONN (4) ---P.S. Uconn is one of 3 teams I want Texas to avoid (other two being Gtown and Stanford). I think their size poses significant problems for Texas
          South: Memphis (1), Kansas (2)
          MW: UNC (1), Louisville (3)

So, based upon what I hope is a crappy prediction by Lunardi at Espn.com, I'm saying 2 Big East and 2 Big 12. I do agree with LT that Texas should make the Elite-8 in most scenarios, but playing Uconn scares the hell out of me, not because they are a better team, but because they present matchup problems.

Fire away at that analysis, boys.

Given that MSU projects as a 4-5 seed, Purdue as a 4, Indiana a 4 and Wisky a 3, I see a tough road fo the Big 10. Theoretically, the ACC, Pac-10 and Big XII, Big East have the easiest roads to landing two teams in the Elite 8 with each having a few 1-3 seeds.

A side note, does anyone else think Xavier are total frauds at a 2 seed and that a fair seeding would 4?

I think Xavier needs to avoid playing a top-4 seed, regardless of where they are seeded, to make the elite-8. So, to answer your question, I don't think they are one of the top-8 teams in the nation and shouldn't be seeded as though they are.

                      Big East

Anyone of these teams could make the elite 8. I can't wait to shut up all these arugements for other conferences, when you guys see what the Big East does come tourny time. Nobody gets a better prep for the NCAA tourney then the Big East tournament.

                      Louisville
                      Georgetown
                      UConn
                      Notre Dame
                      Marquette
                      Pittsburgh

What other conference has 6 legit possibilities?
