I really want to drive out to Vegas...
And put everything I have in my checking and savings account on the Ottawa Senators -1.5...

It ain't much but any amount is worth doubling up...

I'm not going to do it, but I get the feeling I'm going to regret that I didn't.

Easy play here boys... Ottawa has been struggling a bit lately and a home game against Toronto is just what the doctor ordered. They've lost their last two to Toronto and will simply not let this one ever be close. Meanwhile Toronto has got to be caught up in all the negative press, especially now surrounding their franchise player Mats Sundin not waiving his trade clause... this will be a distracted team playing a superior opponent on the superior team's home ice.

5 - 1 Sens... don't bet your whole account on it but bet it fellas. Spread is at +125 to +140 but at least toss the -225 ML into your parlays tomorrow.

It's too late to get in on the Vegas driving dealie.

Ever see the Seinfeld episode where Kramer and Newman want to drive from NYC to Michigan because they can get double the price on beverage can and bottle returns? They haggle over whether or not it's profitable because they can't crunch the numbers in their favor.

The same reminds me of a Vegas road trip these days.I took so many round trips driving from Minnesota that I lost track long ago how many I went on.Gas for the most part was between 75 cents and $1.20 a gallon when I used to do it with a 4 cylinder car that got 32 miles per gallon.I used to stay at a place called Vegas World that's now the Stratosphere and they had these off the wall vacation packages where you just laundered the funny money script chips and you always got more than everything paid for doing that.Free buffet cards, free all you can drink cards, free presents you could sell at the pawn shop next door.hehe!Free everything!!!!I played about 300 match play coupons on blackjack&craps and all the casinos were giving away the farm back then.If there was a gambling promotion coupon of any kind,I would play it.It was so cheesey,so unsophisticated and so low brau and isn't like now where Vegas has been Wynn ified with yuppies trying to impress people. It was fun as hell !!!!!!!!!!!

You could have withdrew all your bank account savings and took a 10 day trip out to Vegas and would have come back with at least what you started out with. Now by the time you pay all the expenses,it's not worth your idea of trying to double your money on a Senators bet.I like the Senators at -1.5 all the time on my parlays though where you get around +150 or MORE on a decent team. That -1.5 on hockey is attractive but with the goalies being so friggin huge and fast with huge pads and gloves where low scoring is the norm, winning by 2 goals compared to 1 can be light years in distance nowadays.

Thats what the empty net is for my friend... one goal lead with two to play, get that fat ass out of the net and bury home my winner on the empty net.

I played your Senator parlay tonight.

$25 wins $625 plus you get the stake back with Ottawa-1.5 over 6 against Toronto and Buffalo -1.5 over 6 against Philly.I don't care for the 6 too much but there were hardly any games in the NHL tonight.I like sportsbooks that let me play these semi correlated parlays.Caesars in Vegas let's you play them but there are many that won't.
