i need help reply from sam
    ttwarrior,
Ifyou are being serious about the condition you state you are in, than I suggest taking a look at the following sites.

Gambling addiction can seriously diminish the quality of your life. Get help, it's never too late.

If I can be of any further help please feel free to contact me anytime.
    Sincerely,
    Sam

Has anyone used any of these. I need to stop, i just can't win, i never win ever..
I looked at all those links and i see nothing i can use for help. If anyone knows of any meetings or someone i can talk too for free i would appreciate it. I need to retire forever. If i had 5 grand Id retire forever. I can't even get that. There is nothing i can see in kentucky for help.

Losing 89 of 92 hands in a row on merge casino was the last straw for me. Had a little roll and i tried to win, but i just can't.. I can't pick any winners. Lost every game but 2 in pickem for football. I can't even win using consensus picks or even if i go against it. I just can't win. Anytime ive ever won it was a fluke. Even lost my 3 Fantasy leagues , all 3 by less then 1 point.. Not one person in the world can say that, not 1 out of millions

I also think an AA or NA meeting may be useful...same concept and I KNOW those are in your area.

Oh! My bad. Honestly by the sounds of the threads and posts you've made the last few months, I do agree that getting the help from a support group like GA could be of great assistance to you. Not to be judgemental or negative. Just trying to help. It can't hurt to go to GA and give it a chance. Being around others who understand what your going through that can give you advice on how to fix or get control of the problems gambling has caused sounds like a great idea.

if i was winning and got a certain amount i would quit. I am gambling because I need money. I am not losing or betting hundreds and thousands. if i had thousand of dollars , i wouldnt even gamble period. If i had 5 grand tommorrow i wouldn't gamble over 5 bucks a week ever again. Its trying to get back after being in a hole that is getting me

I live 3 hours from louisville and 3 from lexington.

It is good to see SBR employees are trying to get some of the posters help that they so obviously need. Warrior if you truly do you need help, you need to make the time to get the help you need.

thats different, if i had cancer, i would go to an alternative clinic anyway. I don't go to the doctor. I have no money to go so i doubt i would even be diagnosed with it unless i collpased one day and woke up in the hospital

Ive already got a broken hip and haven't been checked out for it.

How do you support yourself? Don't say gambling because we already know you have no money.

I guess you never read my past posts about what i do and stuff. Too long to list . I own nothing and living in my grandparents house. No i can't work. Someone that got out of prison for murdering 2 people has a better chance of getting a job. However, i would work online if i knew how to do it or was hired. I volunteer on my other activities that i do. I do have six bucks saved up from surveys, but each survey takes 20 minutes for about a quarter.

Fair enough. At this point I think you should shoot a PM to Minet. I find his posts regarding addictions to be pretty helpful and supportive. I think if you guys talk that may help. On my end, I think it may be helpful to link up with a community mental health center in your area. You may be surprised how helpful a clinician could be with getting you back on you feet. If your disabled which is what it sounds like (broad term), you will be eligible for services (above and beyond just getting help for the gambling problem). Of coarse, I'm here is you want any guidance. All the best my friend.

Give these folks a call. They are the clearinghouse for services in KY and will point you in the right direction. Taking the first step can be scary but it is something you have to do. Try to be positive and think about how its going to get better rather than the reasons why it is not. Don't get discouraged, things will get better.
