fact of the matter is cra lending was declining by 2001 and only after bush's housing welfare program and deregulations did subprime lending explode.

this was all about greed not cra.

Neo-cons are former liberals with roots in the far left - primarily the Jewish far left. Many of the original neo-cons were Trotskyites like the godfather of the neo-con movement, Irving Kristol. They left the Dems in the late 60's when they realized that the George McGovern Dems would not only wimp out in Viet Nam - but would not fight for anything else either - including Israel. They thus crossed over and pretended to be Republicans because they knew the Republicans were the only ones who had the balls to defend Israel.

Get your terms straight. Traditional conservatives are not neo-cons.

And traditional conservatives do not want to "ban" gay "marriage." They just don't want to redefine what marriage is. We could care less if two "men" who like to put their johnsons in each others ass and mouth find each other. They can do whatever they want with each other for all we care. We just don't want them telling our kids that what they do is "normal." We don't object to stem cell research, either. We just don't want government funding it. Government funding is inefficient, ripe for fraud, and we know the issue is being used primarily as a political basis to justify killing innocent, unborn or partially born human beings for the convenience of the irresponsible - at tax payer expense. And we certainly don't care if people gamble. We believe in individual freedom and - unlike liberals - personal responsibility.

Get your facts straight and quit repeating bullshit you hear.
