Phillips was a joke as a head coach. Defense played alot better with him out of there today. First time since training camp this team has practiced in Pads are you kidding me. This team played like its coach when Phillips was coaching lazy. The thing that this team lacked all year long was discipline. Only 5 penalties today season low.

I'm not surprised. Like I said last week, then players are now playing for their jobs they can't blame a coach anymore. Not do or die for their season anymore, but for their jobs. I didn't think they would beat the giants because the giants wee playing so well. But u gotta think Wade is sitting at home with a big WTF on his face

Actually I think Phillips is a good coach ....YEAH....I'm the only one saying it..........so I'm sort of not happy about this.
Bullshit NFL players...........and the games they play.
**** em all.
Gotta know the games they play to win the spread.

The Giants gave that game away. Amazing. Why? The Cowboys are talented, but the Giants should've laid the stomp down.

Or don't try. The Giants brought their D- game and they lost. Their C game coulda still won yesterday.
Credit to Dallas who seems to have found a spark, but let's face it, they really aren't that great.

It just shows they quit on Phillips. No secret to that. It showed in their play on the field vs Jax and GB.

Teams usually get a (temporary) boost when they fire their coach. It isn't necessarily a reflection on the old coach's poor coaching, so much as the teams' improve psychology with him gone. We'll see how long the boost lasts. (And no, I'm not saying Phillips was a good coach; there is plenty of reason to think he wasn't. I am just saying the Sunday's performance probably isn't one of those reasons.)
