On the heels of last week's arrest of freshman Jeremy Elder on two counts of first degree, armed robbery, now this:
Rashad Johnson, first-team all SEC safety, became the second University of Alabama football player arrested in less than a week and the fourth to be arrested by police outside a popular Tuscaloosa nightclub over the past seven months.
Officers had spotted a disturbance outside the bar, which was closing. Security personnel were escorting someone from the bar when Johnson allegedly attempted to intervene and pushed one of the security officers, who fell out the door and onto the ground. Johnson was arrested after a brief struggle.
