Glad Oregon won, had no money on this one. They sure do not deserve the #1 ranking if they only won by 2 points against an unranked team. Wake up Oregon.

Yeah, terrible non-adjustments by the Oregon Offensive coaching staff. For most of the game Cal was stacking the box w/ both safeties w/in 7-8 yards of the line of scrimmage, just begging for Oregon to throw deep down the middle off of some play action. Didn't see any thing like it until late in the 3rd early in the fourth. Only thing I can hope to think is that they felt they could beat Cal w/o it and did not want show some new phase of their gameplan. If not gameplan conservation, it was either pure stubbornness or ineptitude, and it nearly cost them the game.

The interviewer said something like "why are you only up 1 point to Cal" and he said something lame like "well we play the whole game. We're not going to worry about just the 1st half." Then the announcer asked "what adjustments are you going to make at halftime?" and the Oregon coach said "I won't know that until I get in the locker room".

Did you really expect him to tell her the game plan like we are going to throw more or run more on live TV and the coach of Cal can listen to it?

well, if he was smart he would say the opposite of what he planned to do
say you will run more in the 3rd quarter and then throw 9 times in a row to begin the 2nd half

Not at all. He could have been smarter about what he said though. Something like "we hope to adjust to their stacking the box, blah, blah, blah". Instead he looks like a douche bag liar. He knew what he was going to say to his players long before that interview.
