Both Pinnacle and Greek have them up for every game and they are not circled. Bookmaker has one.
Why is Bookmaker so afraid to put up CBB totals?

#4Most recreational books don't have the balls early in the season to do this. It's not just Bookmaker. BetPhoenix, 5Dimes, etc. They're all afraid of getting beat early when the totals are hard to set because they don't know what to expect in some of these cupcake games. It's been this way the past two seasons I believe. I think it's gutless because they'd make more money than they'd lose just because of the amount of action they'd get from people like us who want action. I think once the preseason tournaments get kickin' they start putting up some slowly.Comment -

#5FYI, for US players you can get the same lines Pinnacle has up on college basketball totals at Parlaymakers with pretty close to the same limits.Originally posted by EaglesPhan36Most recreational books don't have the balls early in the season to do this. Bookmaker isn't a rec shop, they are supposed to be the ones originating these lines.Comment -

#15I assume you are talking about totals for NCAABB. We got the same limits Pinnacle has generally speaking. Right now Pinnacle has $250 so we have $250. I think we will top out at about $800 as it moves toward game time.Originally posted by BrianLavertyMax, theres no way you can raise the limits above the 250 you have now?Comment -

#16--There are a zillion games
--These totals move 10+ points if not more
--The only people betting these are the ones that know where the line is going
Seems like good enough reasons for me not to have them run the number. I assuming that CRIS got demolished on these last year. Anyone who wants to gamble on North Carolina & Michigan State, will always have a total on the bigger games, even at the beginning of the season. I really don't see this as an issue at all, and the only people complaining aren't really gamblers but just have some info and want to exploit sportsbooks.
When these nits are ready to step up and make a personal opinion play of their own, then I will listen to complaints.Comment -

#17If by "info" you mean "good handicapping skills" and by "aren't gamblers" you mean "are winners", then I agree.Originally posted by FroggerI really don't see this as an issue at all, and the only people complaining aren't really gamblers but just have some info and want to exploit sportsbooks.Comment -

#18But they've already moved 10pts at pinny and settled by the time greek copies em (so far these last few days). Bookmaker is really too scared at that point to copy them or what? They are going straight rec book.Originally posted by Frogger--There are a zillion games

#20CBB o/u lines are easier to beat than o/u lines in other sports and that's why even books that put them up tend to impose very restricted limits on how much can be wagered on them.Comment -
