    Boxing Questions
I don't watch boxing but know names like Manny Pac and Mayweather are the best of the best. However, these guys seem to be not that big. Their division is called welterweight i recall. Does anyone know what is the restrictions to be in the division they fight in such as weight and height? People say no one can beat mayweather and Manny Pac etc but do people mean welterweights?

I mean if one of these 2 would fight the world heavyweight champion, i'm not even sure who that is but the heavyweight champion would win easily right? Is there a reason why these guys get so much more publicity and fame than the world heavyweight champion? I am pretty damn sure they make much much more money than the top heavyweight boxers correct?

    wow..were are you from sir?
honestly im amazed you seem not to know much about boxing..
im not saying i know it well but, every fighting sport has each weight classes..
yes your right, if heavyweights will be facing these smaller boxers they will have the advantage..

heavier weight class will always have the advantage..
buy pacquaio has overcome that so far, i think he started as a bantam weight and is now at middle weight? he went up by 3 or more weight classes and continue to get different belts..

A good heavyweight fighter will always be the favorite against Mayweather and Manny Pac right?

I never watched boxing. Only NFL and NBA so i don't have a clue about these days. I just keep hearing people say no one can beat Mayweather and i just thought isn't a 6'4 260lb guy going to beat Mayweather easily?

maybe they mean no one has beaten mayweather on his division yet..
no way mayweather goes on to fught a heavy weight..

all in boxing is grouped within weight classes

But mayweather would clearly be an underdog against a heavweight corret?

There's no height restriction. You can have a midget versus an ex-NBA player go at it if the weight matches.

(But, they do permit what's called a catchweight bout in many combat sports. That's where to guys "meet in the middle" of the respective weights and go at it.)
