From my point of view the odds on City to win should not exceed +130 +140 tops .
Books are riding big name ManU but they are garbage and no match to Man City .

Here is some food for thoughts :
United come into this game with some important players injury and others doubtful due to a virus going round the camp. SAF yesterday admitted they were counting heads and that Ryan Giggs had been ruled out while their best player this season Nani is extremely doubtful. SAF said yesterday -'We've no idea at all [on a side]," he said. "We've still got some players out with 'flu and we've sent some players home. We're not in a good position at the moment, but we have a strong squad. We just carry on."
There appears to be doubts over Berbatov, Carrick, Anderson, Gibson, Evans, Macheda, Vidic and Scholes. While a good few of them would play you would imagine, they can't be 100%. Man Utd fielded a very weak side against Wolves and struggled to a late 2-1 victory. By the looks of it they are going to be without their best players again while Man City have a clean bill of health with only Balotelli being suspended. City have a good home record against the big teams in recent years, beating Chelsea and Liverpool at home already this year and they beat Utd at home in the first leg of the Carling Cup clash last season.
Man City midfield looks very strong and with Tevez being bang up for this City have a great chance against a depleted Utd side lacking the quality of recent years.United are being well overrated and recent performances have been very average despite winning/ Without Nani and Valencia they lack pace and that will play into Man Citys hands with their solid midfield. They only have 1 win in 5 away games.

At the end United can’t match City’s attacking power at the moment !
Man City controls midfield (controls the game)and with a strikers they have against an ordinary/average defense they should have no problem scoring 2 goal.
Depleted ManU at the best(with miracle goals) can get away with the draw .

Not the lock of the century . Never had one . But the odds are on your side .

Depending on what 11 they field, yes. If it's a weakened side, getting a result on the road I think is always positive. Sure they want to win, but a point helps just as match to keep them close to the top.
