Sounds like you are thinking about making it a regular trip. Have you thought about finding a vegas local that can make the bets for you? Go out once a month to settle up. Obviously you would have to work out the trust factor but eventually that communte will kill you.

I lived in Vegas years ago and when I moved away I went back every couple weeks to visit friends/girlfriend. After a couple of months I got completely burned out.

    Just something to think about.

I know there are guys that act as proxy for the Hilton Contest and for Leroys Contests. You could always look into that, obviously they would want a percentage but in the end it might be worth it.

If you find someone start out small and see how it goes. Over time as the trust builds you could always increase the amounts.

Remember man, shop lines ALL day. When I was out there for the bowl season, I cashed big on West Virgina +7 and the ML at +240......after I placed the bet I went across the street and the line was WV +7.5 and the ML +260. So look around. That .5 point COULD have come in to play, but it obv didnt, but that extra +20 on the ML woulda helped a little

The very quickest cab ride from the airport is the MGM. Mandalay Bay may seem closer, but the ride is actually further because you have to come around the airport first. If they take the freeway (they will tell you it is faster), the distance is even longer. Go through the MGM lobby towards the casino, and the sportsbook is right ahead on the other end. You can easily walk to New York New York and the others on that corner if you want, but you won't see a big difference in the lines. Walk a couple of blocks north on the Strip and there is a Fatburger.

Just a reminder that Reno is an option too. About $20 from airport downtown. Three or four books within walking distance of one another, and another four or five around town. The airfare might be more, but hotels less. Real-town feel. And you can ski.

The cabs will be waiting in full force and the trip is short and sweet. Just pick your destination, tell your driver where you want to go, walk in to your casino, ask where the sportsbook is, and get your ticket. from the time you get off the plain you could probably have your bet placed in 35 minutes.

try to avoid carrying big cash at the airport, if possible withdraw & deposit at a Vegas branch of your bank. some TSA guards never seen big money before in their life and they can give you some of sh!t about it thinking they are Sherlock Holmes

If you are worried about carrying large amounts of cash, you can wire it from your bank right to the casino cage. If you win your bet just bring home the profits and leave the bankroll there. This is assuming you are planning on making it a regular thing.

Because if you lose, you will come home empty, having wasted so much time and energy for nothing. If you lose at home, then at least you didn't sweat as much. I think you're overreacting to online gambling issues. Most people aren't having any problems.
