I'm in a huge slump, 5 straight days now with losses. :/
I haven't been on the sports betting scene for long, just started this month actually. But it seems like I am not doing so good. I have gone 5 days in a row now with a loss. First it was $54 loss, than $34, than $12, than $20, and today $30.

I guess luckily for me I'm betting small. Only betting about 5% of my balance on each bet. So around $6-7 a bet.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe I should shorten my bets and not play so many games in one day? I average About 5-9 plays a night. It seems like maybe this is not the way to go, but even on a busy night should I lay off on most the games, and just pick from 2 or 3 of them?

I even tried following some cappers on here, but even one of those guys made me lose 7 straight picks all from the same guy.

Maybe I should cut out one of the sports I bet on? Maybe cut out one of the markets I bet on? Maybe stick to normal picks instead of O/U... I dunno, I really not sure what I need to change, but I cant keep losing like this.

I usually bet on the NBA and NHL and to some extent the NFL.

Have you guys had slumps like this?

Dont make moneyline bets like that...

Im a small money player too, but have been pretty hot lately. Id suggest figuring out which types of bets you are hitting, and which you arent. Iv had a lot of success with two team parlays, and live-bets too, if your book offers that.

As for the Lakers, take them in the 1st quarter. Iv been doing that lately, and as someone said, its been an ATM. I consider them my late night bailout anytime i have a bad day.

              Thanks for the advise.

I looked at some stats. And I have come to the amazing discovery that I am actually 9-7 in O/U in the NBA with a profit so far of $67.82!

It looks like my losses are coming from picking money lines and spreads.

Perhaps I should be going to O/U exclusively. Even in the NHL I am 3-3, though with just a hair of a loss at .72 cents.
