what cal irving did is impossible
scoring 18 points in 1st half and then 47 in 2nd half against a top 20 team is impossible, but it happened. no way if illinois plays even the 3rd string.

illinois not a top 20 team to let this happen as good teams do not let shitty teams come back and outscore them in by 10 in 2nd half.

God Bless the ILLINI, they are going to be very fun to watch this year. A very very talented young team!

They were fukking around, far too many lineup changes, play your best 6 or 7, 8 at the most and get that established. Team is no where near what they will be in 2 months.

lol I will bet what ever you wanna bet that they dont lose in the first round of the NCAAs is there anyways we can make a future bet on this. Yes I was on the Illini but they just quit playing at the 9 minute mark of the 2nd quarter. They got lazy because they were already killing irvine

Your a tool for saying there not a good team lol. If they lost to that crap shoot Texas team then you can say there a bad team because Texas is pure shit

            Means absolutely nothing.

What if they played the starting five longer and someone got hurt?

Insanely amazing to say the least. This is why I don't tune in to my favorite sport to bet on until late December.

got burned on the panthers, didn't think the rams would be much with only one returning starter,

Same group basically choked last season going 2-6 in their last eight conference games not making the NCAA tournament. They had a 5-10 record against teams with an RPI in the top 50. Don't matter how many All-Americans they have or how many returning starters. They are a bad team!

Must admit, i was pretty damn excited when i checked the score for the second time (checked it halftime initially), and saw that i won my +21. Felt good.

The 2nd half of that game was pretty much reserved for clearing the benches and practicing 3pt shooting (McCamey and Richardson look like they might need it). Could they have won by 50? Perhaps. But you have to believe that watching Indiana's Maurice Creek tear an ACL vs. Bryant late in the game when they were up by 50 last December doesn't play a factor in a lot of teams' thinking.

The fact is, Illinois just isn't a fast paced team. They take a lot of mid-range jumpshots which never get them to the free throw line and aren't even worth 3 points. If you want teams that can cover huge spreads look for teams that can run jump and dunk all over their opponents, like Ohio State, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

Dude or Girl you keep making yourself act like a fool . Stop with your stupid comments because your not right. That same group is a completely different team when you add 3 ESPN U 100 players to a roster that shares minutes with the 3 freshmen. That is a HUGE difference That is not the same group of players when the rotation has 3 different players fighting for minutes to play. I dont understand why you think that that is the same lineup . How is that the same lineup when you have the addition of 3 freshmen playing? Is that the same Brandon Paul as last year? Is that the same Dj Richardson as last year? Is that the same Tyler Griffey as last year? No its not now stop with your stupid ass comments.

UC Irvine was an easy winner last night. That game stuck out like a sore penis.

BS. Irvine had just got smoked by a NAIA school at home.

Definitely not the same group. If it was do you think they;d be ranked around 15 when they weren't even NCAA last season? They had a top 5 or so freshman group coming in. Freshman are big in today's NCAA's. Plus they lost no one of consequence and their other starters are a year more mature. Very very different team. They had no chance to compete last season, but this season if things fall right they could actually potentially be a contender. Not that they win, but it's not out of the question.
