I love the combine - but I hate how 'top 5 blue chips' don't work out. You can really see the difference in top prospects.

Maybe i'm too into the NFL. Knowing these kids coming into the NFL doesn't help my betting much at all - but there is something to be said about seeing Jay Cutler throw a football versus all the other riff-raff that is there working out. You can see the top talent and hope your team gets on board.

For the most part, there's maybe 1 or 2 guys that jump out in a big way - guys you saw in college and missed how fast they were, or athletic. Seeing the best side by side really draws the contrast...

Plus I love the OL vs DL 1 on 1 drills - yum... And the receivers vs the DBs. Great competition.

im looking to see another school go 1 and 2 with the RBs ala the auburn tigers with Cadillac and Brown.

Sometimes there's a diamond behind that blue-chipper. It's possible.... But not likely.

I saw the State Farm Insurance casual skills competition the other day for position players and kickers and it was fun to watch.I can never figure out guys that can kick a football 80 yards but can't hit the broad side of a barn. It's almost like the old saying about sex where,,,,well, you know

cason is the best corner i saw even though many list him at 5th or so. its an embarrassing year for safeties, imo, Kenny Phillips is a pro-bowler and then its everyone else.
