So true, but is this just me or is that pool of "better" indeed NOT growing? I find one up and comer about every three to five years that has fundamental soundness, yet a good one dies about every year now. Niehaus the latest. . .

Morgan is indeed a great guy but probably best suited for interviews or light hosting roles. Have him host "greatest moments" shows, etc. . .

Berman needs to go. A big fat gas bag that is hard to stomach. Fortunately, when ESPN does the Thur-Fri Masters telecast, Berman is not allowed anywhere near Augusta or a microphone.

As the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side...until you hop the fence and take a closer look. Once we see who replaces them, we'll know if a good move was made. My fear is it will be Gary Thorn and Rick Sutcliffe. But even if it is, my TV remote came with a mute button, something that apparently others don't have.

I'm in the minority in that I liked the duo of Miller and Morgan. To each their own when it comes to broadcasters, no different than music or movies or art.

Think Morgan dragged down Miller. Morgan as the Analyst should offer the insight, but he was off a lot on his facts and kept repeating the same stuff. Miller far more knowledgable on the game than Morgan.

I couldnt stand Morgan at first. His speech thingy and slow delivery was irritating. But he grew on me and his insight offered things I didnt know. And he was pretty quick to tell you what was a key factor.

I sort of saw this coming when he signed with the Reds front office last year, i hope this don't mean he is going to be sitting in for them in the broadcasters seat, which im sure he will a few times, they have alot of different guys...

That being said i liked it when they had Harold Reynolds but i think he is with MLB TV right now, another guy with them i would like to hear call more games is Barry Larkin...
