is getting cocky after a few wins.

Calm down boys. Everyone goes on a huge winning streak. For some reason people follow their same routine which equaled losing money, now they win 6 in a row and think they've changed and are picking better/greatest handicapper alive.

    Quick burial sure to follow.

happens all the time, best way to get a handle on this is to take a coulple

only 10? That's weak for a true winner!

Several times, if you get too comfy after winning, you're guaranteed to get hammered.

                              It's happened to me.

I agree I don't get too confident after having a big week. I just do my homework and keep trying hard and I will be fine. This year I have had a few bad weeks but I have had some real good weeks too that has me ahead so far. I just hope it continues that is all.

If you guys get all excited about winning a bet, though, you suck in general.

I see guys going crazy after a 3-0 night, and I can guarantee that you guys are all just guessing.

You obviously don't know what your doing if you get excited after a couple wins.

95% of you guys seem to be guessing at this and just wasting away your money, when you could be surfing or something instead.

                                    But that's cool..

whenever i go on a huge winning streak, i start cussing myself out because i now know the even bigger losing streak will begin. and i swear it never fails to come right after that.

Rudy, you are so right, I caught you when you had a little bit of a bad run, everyone says you know your stuff, it is evident to me that is true, everybody goes on a crazy good run from time to time, it is the people who have money management skills and knowledge who stay in it for the long run. GL my friend.

Excellent advice. When you are winning it is easy to stop being diligent and prudent which is usually why you were doing well in the first place.

Usually after a giant win, something often very bad happens outside of gambling. I've never understood it - but it just freaks me out sometimes. Maybe it's because of association, knowing that's it's on your mind a lot and that you've got a higher state of awareness. Let's not lie here - any big win is a rush of some kind, no matter how hardened you are to wagering.
