Oops...I didn't post quickly enough. That question was for the HedgeHog.
No I'm not that double-jointed, but I got the visual! Thanks, I think.

PS I too have posted prematurely...not that it's a good thing.

LOL how about back in August when Cindy emails to the McCain website supporters to sign an online birthday card for his 71st birthday? When the supporters clicked the link...it was sent to a friggin donation page requiring the supporters to send up to $2 for every year of his age? otherwise supporters couldn't send the b-day greeting.

        LMAO....nice posture there Cin.

              ...And so it begins.
The most interesting thing is I was waiting for the Republican PR machine to get to work - this information about McCain is earlier than I expected, however. In the history of the modern free world, the Republican machine is second to none in PR, distorting facts, protecting their own and punishing others for their mistakes. It's amazing. It's genious control of information.

What I don't like is the early dismissal of the facts supplied by the NY Times, which has been hammered over the years as being 'crazy' by many, which is odd as it was always the 'standard' for journalistic integrity. But the further implications go into things like free speech and freedom of the press. Things have dramatically changed since say, watergate - where journalists were EVERYTHING in bringing down several (not all) people in every facet of our government that conspired to spy on political rivals.

It's actually very bad to let this story go away without getting to the heart of it - and even worse to dismiss things so quickly - and also too early to say it will kill him. Bill Clinton did quite well despite his 'extra-curricular' activities prior to being elected President... But those affairs were not with people involved in government or any facet of governmental influence - unless Jennifer Flowers was some kind of mole for some interest group haha.

I think it's too early to say, but McCain's history is involved in being not only a ****-up in the navy that got several service members killed into being a POW that's now a national hero... There's some very good facts on the first page of his thread talking about his earlier scandal. That doesn't make today's story true, but it goes to show that the guy is a first rate A-Hole that was not only privledged, but used his being captured into a career in high-level politics. I feel horrible saying it, but he was not the only POW this country has ever had.

While I don't like this kind of thing entered into the ring - who you let squat on your hydrant is your own business. Kids don't need to be hearing and become jaded about how disloyal people are to their marital partners... What's more important is that people will start finding out more about McCain. He's NOT untouchable just because he is a former POW. To me, that's important. His story with his first wife is deploreable.

There's an oxymoron if I ever heard one. There is no such thing as journalistic integrity any longer, just eat or be eaten. You will find individual journalists with integrity, but entire media conglomerates, at least in the mainstream? They don't exist any longer.
