Gasol is a true competitor with passion for the game. He has improved his game emphatically in the paint. Has a nice outside shot and fills the definition of what makes a champion, but as long as he is a Laker along with Kobe he will never be MVP

way too early to speculate on MVP... plus the way people are on Durant's nuts at the moment I think he'll win it this yr although Pau has been amazing so far go Lake Show!!!!

Gasol has been playing like a madman lately, but I sadly, I don't see him ever winning a MVP award.

Who really takes notice of the guy when you are on the same team as Kobe, and there are the names such as Durant, Lebron, Wade etc in the league?

Gasol is a good player in general, and he is performing very well, but he is far from being a "strong favorite" to winning the MVP.

Pretty much, this is the same guy that said Miami Heat were highly overrated after the first half of the 1st game and that Denard Robinson was going to win the Heisman after 3-4 games.

What are we, 6-7 games into the season we are already weighing in on who is the MVP?? How about this, we just enjoy the basketball season and let things play out. A month ago we couldn't wait for basketball season to start, now we are already naming MVPs and giving out championships... My guess is that in another month, we will be discussing next season...
