Top finishers got $97.90, players finishing right above Prick got $17.89, which is 18% of what the top finishers got. Even though you have +2.95, that is the bottom of the cutoff this time. So you receive the bottom payout. About 18-20% of top players. Not sure why you think you're getting 60%. Granted you'll get more than $17.89, but not because you had +2.95 (2.90 is the bottom this week), but because they're is a lot less players getting paid this time and out of a larger prize pool. I'll be happy to wager that you dont even get close to 50% of top prize

Someone who finishes at +3 units, will get 60% of what someone that ended up at +5 units gets. I'll try to find an example of a previous BTP that may help clear this up for ya.

If Prick finishes with negative units, which he usually does, you are correct because 3 units is 60% of 5 units. When Prick finishes in + units, it's not as simple as you say. you'll see Monday night I guess

Just did some rough math for the hell of it to see what the 5-0ers should get this week. Came up with a total net of +148ish units for the winners, counting every pending pick as a 50/50 for those with pending picks.

I came up with about $405 for those +5 units, which is $81 per unit, not bad.

Obviously I expect these numbers to be off a little bit depending on the outcome of tonight and the MNF game, but this should be moderately close.

yes that was me.....I jinxed myself I guess. I had about 8-9 plays that I loved. Unfortunatly those werent the ones I used in the BTP. Overall did well yesterday too.

This is accurate. Ignore all the other theories in this thread (it doesn't matter how much you beat the prick by, as long as you beat him). It all breaks down to $ per unit, then multiply by your positive units, if you beat the prick.

If it ended right now, it's about $60 per unit (so $300 for 4-0 +5. If you are +2.95 units, it's about $180). It will go up/down from there based on the monday night game outcome.

This is the perfect storm. If Giants cover Prick goes 3-1 +2.90 for the first time this year. After the 1pm games there are only 13 4-0's. Ne/Cle game wiped out a ton of people. The payouts will be the biggest ever so far! However, only 671 would be eligible from the count I just did (meaning payout would stay at the fixed $12,000). The leaderboard lists 200 per page, and the 0-0's are not sorted as DQ'ed until the round finishes.

at least admit that you wet yourself with this huge payout that is coming to those that went 4-0.

whatsgood and commish are the only guys that are accurate in this thread. it comes out right now to about 60 dollars per unit that is going to be paid. assuming about 10 more people go 4-0 after MNF this will decrease this number to about 54 dollars per unit . which means those that went 4-0 will get about 270 dollars . those that went 3-1 and are at +2.95 will get about 160 bucks.
