Buyouts and paid leave suspensions only happen in the world of government employees
He will probably have a huge smile on his face when he gets fired and say,I'm going to Disney Land!
In the private sector when you goof up bigtime, you get fired. In the government sector like being a cop, firefighter, teacher or coach when you really F up,you get a paid administrative leave. That's a friggin reward, not punishment. It's like when you are a kid in public school goofing up ''which probably means you said something bad about a socialist''you get suspended from school. That's a reward to a kid and not punishment.
Time and time again these colleges that are supported by tax dollars give the sweetheart deal contracts to coaches where there really is no incentive for them not to missbehave or get burnout and have a couple bad seasons. You get a ton of money in a buyout from the tax payer when you don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you when you get tossed out.
Animal trainers should take the same approach by giving out rewards to missbehaving animals that bite the trainers.
The only time in the private sector where I saw a lousy employee get one over on an employer was when an employee purposely smoked a joint in the lunch room hoping to get caught. When you get fired you get workers comp and when you quit, you get nothing. The employer later realized his mistake with his knee jerk reaction to firing the guy instead of making work misserbale where he would have quit.
