obama made that place famous. went there a bunch of times during pres campaign and then after he got in office. they musta made a big contribution. i tried it for first time a couple months ago. opened one up near me. didnt think it was anything special. and dont like the fact no value meals. everything is a separate item.

It's pretty stupid and shows they're trying too hard with them touting themselves incessantly though, like all over the fukin walls are obscure articles from places like Jackson, Mississippi Tribune saying "#1 Burger".

This sounds like a personal problem. I have been full since noon, haven't even thought about food. And, haven't had to "shit in the woods." I won't say it's the best burger I've ever had, but they do a real good job. You could easily share a burger and fries though, the fries are too much. And it was mentioned before, but they really do need some sort of value meal. It's not that $11 bucks is a great deal of money, but this is fast food people.

I went to 5 Guys Burgers a few weeks ago. It had just been opened a week before, and it was dead. Me and 2 friends were there, and there was 3 other ppl; this was at 6-7pm on a weekday.
But everything Cougar said, I concur. Very good burger, need a small cup of fries, and gives us a combo option.

When I went it was about lunchtime and there was a good sized line and the place was full inside. I agree, give people a break with the a la carte menu and put together some sort of value meal, $8, $9 whatever, but $11 is kinda out there for fast food. May as well go to Red Robin.

I don't know if it is just hear but they tell you to throw the peanut shells on the floor. There are peanut shells all over the joint. I eat more peanuts then fries there but the burgers are ******* great.

just went and had a burger and fries. have to say the burger this time was better than the one and only previous time i had five guys. great burger but fries were not that good and way too many. regular fry is like 200 fries. who could eat that many.
