I just saw the movie Borat for the first time the other night and thought it was pretty funny but crude where it would turn some people off or offend them.I didn't realize that the damn movie was really filmed where the people in it thought Borat was a real person.That would have made it all the funnier when I was watching it.I guess quite a few of the people in the movie are suing Cohen because they say it ruined their reputation.The tv anchorwoman said she lost her job and went into debt and foreclosure resulting in depression.
I can see where there would be an endless amount of Borat movies touching on many topics that would be hilarious.The problem now would be to find more unsuspecting prop people to use in the movies because Borat's gig is up where he's not annonymous anymore.
It was kind of refreshing to see someone poke fun at his own ethnicity being that Cohen is Jewish where he poked fun at Jewish stuff.Maybe if more groups,religions,races and genders did the same,we wouldn't have all this walking on egg shells political correctness double speak talk and attitude in this country where poeople would lighten up.
