Do people really care about racist comments online? If they do there is a "block" function, where his posts will not show up. I laugh when I see racist comments, it doesn't matter if they are towards blacks/whites/mexicans they all make me smile. The whole world needs to lighten up, and not take everything so serious. If beantownjim were to meet Ben Wallace in a dark alley in Detroit, do you think He'd be racists towards him? absolutely not, it's all an online show that he puts on. I'm sure he drops the N bomb at home, but I doubt he runs around calling blacks Nigerians to their face.

Exactly, nobody knows, this is the internet. People act completely different than they do in real life. His posts on here are racist, but why ban him for it or give him an infraction? It's the internet, people should be able to post whatever they want, as long as it won't get others fired from their jobs.

in light of all those teens that have committed suicides over what was posted online, this is extremely ignorant.

i can pretty much guarantee if someone is racist online they are racist in life. and they dont have to go up to blacks and call them the n word to be racist, that would be a racist that is suicidal. they can show it other ways such as seeing a black person in need but walking by; stiffing a waiter cause he's black; not renting an apartment to a couple cause they are black; not hiring someone cause they are black....these are all blatant racism.

i was watching what would you do on abc and they had a segment where white kids were vandalizing a car and no one did anything. they switched em with blacks and everyone called 911 and confronted them. just goes to show racism comes in many form.

i equate cyber racism to the 19th century kkk. cause what did they do before riding off to lynch blacks? put on their white sheet and hood to conceal their true identity. do u think they stopped being racists once they removed their hood or when they log off?

In an online forum which caters to gamblers it's bad business to allow racists to post here. Many potential posters who can turn into longtime gamblers are minorities and seeing every time they log in at PT guys like BTJ spewing their racism turns them off completely from gambling.

I thought most of those "cyber bullying" suicide cases, were because people always bullied them online. And then when they'd go to school, they would "shut down" and just avoid everyone, because they thought that they would be made fun of even more.

Like that kid that went to Rutgers, that killed himself because of the gay video of him that was streamed online, was that because the 2 people that posted the video were racist against gays? Or was it because the kid didn't want everyone to know he was gay, and it was a terrible way for everyone to find out.

People on here that say they make thousand dollar bets all the time, do they actually make them in real life?

Dude, take it easy with the hysterics, I think we all realize John is the one that will decide how this place is ran. By his posts I don't think you guys who live to hate on others have anything to worry about. He's made it pretty clear that Beaner is allowed to routinely disrespect, mock and humiliate other groups of people because "he's been here a long time". That said I believe these forums are sort of like voting, even if your participation doesn't change things you forfeit any rights to bitch about how things are done if you remain quietly on the sidelines.
