    Help/Advice
Anyone in US... If you get your payouts in the form of a couriered check... where do you cash it other than your personal bank. I have a personal checking account but use it for my everyday needs and would prefer not tie the 2 together. Also not sure how it works from a legal perspective.

Any help please would be greatly appreciated, I have a 4K payout coming.

    Thanks

Just go down to another major bank branch (Regions, Wachovia, BBVA, etc), open a new checking acct with $50, which takes all of 20 minutes, and put it in there. Being a new account holder, they'll probably hold it for 10 days, but that's normal.

If you don't want to tie it to your personal bank you have to deposit it at another bank which you have an account but is not your personal bank.

A bank you don't have an account at isnt going to touch it. A check cashing/pawn shop won't either. Only option is to open another checking account and only use it for your gambling ventures. Or maybe you'll get lucky, last time I requested a check the book actually sent me a US Postal money order, which you can cash at the post office. Or maybe the check will be drawn on a bank that has a branch in your area, doubt this though.
