i suggest the trivia to give one minute to answer, if answered in the first 20 seconds is awarded 3x, in the next 15 seconds 2x, and the remain 25 seconds tie if answered correctly... no excuse about freeze pc or timeout...

Got to question 3 - who was backup qb on 97 giants. I answered kanell. Said I was wrong, but looked up after (I swear) and it said Kanell started 10 of 16 games. Wouldn't he be the backup for the other 6 games?

Kanell was the official starter of the 1997 season.

The question was phrased exactly--- "In 1997, who was the New York Giants' backup, backup quarterback?".

The first backup was Dave M. Brown (who started 6 games & backed up Kanell in the other 10), but the Q is worded for the 3rd stringer. The correct answer was Mike Cherry. It is verified by this pro football history page of the 1997 New York Giants roster.

Lou - thanks for the clarification. I didn't see the "backup, backup" part (I was thinking to myself - hurry the f*** up the timer is winding down) , but even if I did I never would have guessed Mike Cherry - that question was tough as hell! I never heard of him. I do recall Kent Graham, who I think was one of the other choices. I did correctly rule out Collins.

Rolled the dice on question 3. Got a couple in the past, but not this time. Question 3's are tough as hell, but I guess that's why they are worth the big points.

SBR you should let posters put up 10 points of their own if they miss the 1st question to get a shot at the 2nd one. Wouldn't of helped me today as I missed the 125 point question but seems like a cool idea.

I just got the first question correct, clicked to go to round two and got the message "error:undefined," and was not awarded any points at all
