no, he will hold on to his money. he is not another dumb athlete. far from it. he is not a sheep like most of them. obeying his superiors, thats not him. he doesn't want to be a decoy even if he would be the best one out there. opening up the field for other receivers irks him and he isn't afraid to speak his mind. the buffet thing was his way of saying he didn't want to be there and now he isn't. he will find a job and be appreciated for the receiver that he is or was at least.

You're missing the point. He's an ignorant lout and his outrageous behavior cannot be excused because he is gifted athletically. We make exceptions for these men because they have a unique skill set. Anyone that gives this guy a pass on behaving badly is devoid of any basic human decency and although that appears as though I am overstating it, I cannot help but recall what my dear old dad once told me. He said, "you can always tell the measure of a person by how they treat the help." Nuff said.

I don't see that. Randy has an attitude problem, but he's an intelligent guy. He's invested in several businesses that as far as I know are working out, and all his teammates agree he understands the game a lot more than the media lets on. I don't really think people get him, he just wants to win and play football. I think that's where the problem in NE came, he wanted to know he was going to stay there so he wanted a new contract, leading to all the other shit. The Raiders sucked when he was there...that's why he quit in Oakland (not that I'm excusing it). He thought Childress didn't pay enough attention to his insight into the Pats, that's why I think he was pissed in Minnesota. I'm not defending all of his actions, but for some of you to just say he's a stuck up rich ass wipe who doesn't care about anything but himself and money is just as ignorant as someone who excuses everything he does because he's the most talented WR ever.
