woody is from my hometown. broke every rushing record in nebraska but callahan (nebraska coach at the time and ironically current jets o-line coach) wouldn't take a chance on him cause he was a "midget" as you say. it was big news throughout the whole state cause the guy dominated nebraska's largest class for 4 years. won the harlan hill trophy twice (dII player of the year) . shouldn't have won it his senior year. numbers weren't as good. but happy he did. jets cut him cause he wasn't in their plans. thought he was when they released thomas jones cause he played a ton on 3rd down last year. obviously he wasn't when they signed LT. watching hard knocks gave me the impression that rex ryan had no say in cutting woody. he loved him.Originally posted by BrentCrude

Im glad hes not with the Jets because i like the way this guy plays and I dont think the Jets would play him with LT and Greene
