The only negative is that a lot of the games are not in HD (at least not on Dishnet). I'm not sure why so many games are still only in SD.
First off, Dishnetwork is crap. If you want the most sports and HD, get Directv. Second, I rarely watch the games I bet on, so no need to shell out 170 when I can pick up a game every night anyway.

for me I'm not always home... I can literally be wherever and not have to worry about the channelsurfing.net "maybe it will load maybe it won't" aspect...

No that big a deal in my opinion to have it.. I use it at least a couple of times a day.. Particularly in Canada where we don't get all the games like in the US... very fair price for what it is...

I think it's a great deal at $170 to have games every night to watch on TV plus the computer...Although I ordered it a month ago with the early bird and I'm thinking it didn't go through so now I have to call DirecTV and spend an hour bitching to get it at the original price I ordered it for

Too much football for me to watch now. Once NFL season winds down, I'll buy League Pass.

I try to always watch the games I bet on. A lot easier for me to Live bet. $170 to watch hundreds of games is a very good purchase. Also the ability to DVR it for later is a no brainer.

I use to have Directv but I like Dishnet a little better. I get East/West coast feeds of abc/nbc/cbs/fox which is a huge plus and I get more channels for the $. Only down side is no NFL ticket and some NBA in SD and not HD.

It's great for people like me living in Europe and getting absolutely no TV coverage. Can watch every game with no blackouts and have it stored for the whole season. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to everyone thats in the same situation as me (living in a country with little to none coverage). Beats having to search all over the internet for places to watch in shitty stream quality.

My First reply ever.I live in the midwest in a College Town so it is all College football and Basketball on tv and all the Local Sports talk is about Iowa and Nebraska.Im A PRO Guy for the most part i Get DISH Network They do not have the MLB Package so i do not Subscribe to that but i get the NBA AND NHL Package. The best games like someone mentioned are on the Networks but the package is good because my teams are the LA Kings and Golden State Warriors who do not get National Coverage too often.I do get pissed because i see on the local channels HD is available like when it is on say FSSW Then i turn to the package and HD not available all games should be on HD at this point. My friends have said switch to Direct tv but im a Racing better so Dish has both Hrtv and tvg while dish does not Plus i love the RED Zone only way to watch Football for me.

That's an added bonus. When you have money on a team and you watch it through that team's broadcasters. Even better.

                                  Thank God for DirecTV

Not only everything he said BUT YOU ALSO GET TO WATCH FROM BROADBAND on the internet!!! So, if you are out of town or on a road trip and have USB Internet from verizon or at & t you can watch NBA while driving! CRAZY LOVE DIRECT TV!!! u have no idea! I watch every single Heat game....EVERY ONE!! LOVE IT!
