They have -1.5 PL for both underdogs and favorites in 5dimes. But does -2.5 exist for hockey like in baseball?

You'd have to be batshit nuts to want to bet -2.5 on NHL

If it's so bad why don't books offer it then?

I recalled someone told me there was a book that offers these but i forgot which one he said. Well some games do end with the winning team winning 3 goals... which is why i'm asking this.

I have seen those lines from time to time at Sbobet and Bet365 but not daily.

So no A books offer these correct? Also, does anyone know what are the odds for a team -2.5 when say they are -160 favorite? I would estimate +400? I would assume a team who is a +200 dog -2.5 Puckline has to be minimum +1000 odds. I would guess its around +1200?

Sbobet is A+ as you can get.

5dimes offers all alternative spreads from -1.5 to +1.5 but I believe they don't run up to 2.5...

                    so you never back longshots?

if the price is right why not?

5dimes will have it in the playoffs, i think they have up to plus 4.5 and minus 4.5, i wish they would do it for the regular season also

It's like betting pleasers in NBA or NFL. Long term profit is not possible.

You can try some of the European bookies - sportingbet, bet365, bet-at-home...

i wouldn't know about pleasers as never played them but seems a rather ignorant comment about long term profit not being possible

if you are able to properly price any outcome and only bet when it's over the odds long term profits should be just as possible as in any other form of wagering

if price is right, most anything is worth betting
