    TVG Legal?
How come I'm in the U.S. and TVG is advertising betting at TVG.com? Is horse racing different then sports betting?

Yes, horse racing has an exemption; it is legal to bet horses online in most states with US-based racebooks, like Youbet, Twinspires, TVG, Premier Turf Club, etc.

or simply put in the eyes of members of congress who receive large campaign contributions from the owners of thoroughbreds there is a huge difference
not to mention the NFL and other sports leagues and their ownership

You have to live in certain states to use them , not all states are legal.
