Which program offers more/better comps in general? I've almost exclusively been with Harrah's, but wonder how MGM's program compares. MGM seems to have much better properties nowadays, especially with the opening of Aria. Any opinions?

if u want to stay at ceasars or Ph u need harrahs
if u want to stay anywhere else u need mgm

Harrahs reward card is a joke. Back when I first started going to Harrah's properties the pit bosses would look at your play and hand write comps. By the end of the trip I always had more comps then I knew what to do with. Because of this I've always stayed a loyal Harrahs customer. Over the last few years though they have pretty much reduced their comping system to nothing. After playing craps and high stakes blackjack for several days I think I ended up with $9 in comps. Not to mention that Harrah's is running all of their properties into the ground. Just about every hotel Harrah's owns is starting to look dated and dirty while MGM properties look sparkling and new. Harrah's is going to try and squeeze every last dollar out of their properties before they make any changes.Comment
