I thought Angle at +200 was better value than Conn D at -250, but lo and behold, Angle lost.

Nev Rep +200 was at least 100% +EV and Conn Dem was about 35% +EV, so from that perspective you are correct. Factoring in the differing risk, I think they were about the same in value. Of course taking them both for the max was a no-brainer if you could afford it.
