Asked how is the champion for division 1a decided? I was about to select by polls, but then I remembered they changed the names and now Division 1 is what they used to call D -1AA and they do use playoffs. Anyone feel me on this?

Division 1 has FBS (D1-A) and FCS (D1-AA) then there's D2 and D3 and w/e.

You are def right about FCS and FBS. That is why I am not necessarily crying foul or anything. However last year they were making a big deal about dropping the whole 1AA, thing.

Unless a year was given as a criterion, the question is flawed imo without that with those options. Polls used to flat-out determine champion, but now it just determines BCS title game. Tricky indeed. Was it your 2nd question?Comment -
