With the NBA shut down with the All Star Break what will you be doing this weekend. For me I leave today to travel with my daughter while she plays a basketball tourney. I won't miss much action and I do my fatherly duty.

Going surfing this weekend, with a cold front pushing through Sunday, waves will be up later today and Saturday ahead of the front. Water is cold thats the only down side 58 degrees, but the air temps will be in the 70s.

On Saturday, my son and I will be riding bikes up and down the hills of Pennsylvania somewhere for about 80 miles. Then I'll take my ass and marinate it in the hot tub for about 3 hours.

Sunday I'm going to my bosses new annual Daytona 500 party. An event that is undoubtably influenced by my yearly Super Bowl party, which has grown every year into a major party event of the season. My boss is trying to capture the same vibe.

MLB previews, working on getting the garden ready, taking maw- and paw-in-law out for dinner tonight, maybe having a catch with the godson, try to finish up watching the second season of Northern Exposure on the DVDs Santa brought me a while back...oh, and my ongoing effort to make the perfect martini.
