Put it this way, you made it here Doug and that is all that counts. Good things can happen when you least expect them. My niece was "an accident" and she is adorable. At the they very least, even if you were an accident, at least you can bet on sports.

It was strange growing up with "old" parents , though ! actually very old in reality. I wouldn't have traded my parents for anyone else's...but If I had kids, I think I'd start and end at 25-35. Too late now at 47 for me !

It was like almost like having grandparents as parents, though !

I wouldn't want a baby at 43 .

Well Doug even at the 47 you are still virile. That's the thing about males, if given a proper environment (a nice vagina) they can contribute their half of DNA to a child, even when they are so old they can't even walk anymore. An 80 year old Alzheimer's patient in a nursing home has sperm that will get the job done (fertilization)! But that is beside the point, the choice to have kids or not is for everyone to choose, except for the accidents. What is interesting is from the dawn of evolution, from the very first replicating cells over billions of years of natural selection, each of our ancestries goes back to individuals who managed to have offspring before they died. That billions of year long phenomenon is the ultimate streak!

I didnt want one at 23, I didnt want one at 33. I am 34 now & still dont want one. Maybe I will by 43. The key is marrying a younger woman who is at the right age to want & be able to have a baby. I figure I will have a kid in my early 40's if I ever want one. But I just dont think I will ever want a kid. Or to get married for that matter. Kids & wives are both pain in the asses. You are legally bound to one for 18 years & to the other until you give her half your shit.
